With the nine forms of devotion: Sravana, Kirtana, Smarana, Padasevana, Archana, Vandana, Dasya, Sakhya & Atmanivedana, lets bow down with reverence before our Guru who is the supreme being, the Lord of Lords, SatChitAnanda, from whom the living came into existence and in whom everyone merges, before him let us salute, and thank him for all the beautiful things he has done to us. May Lord Siva, Sai & Guru's grace be on all.

Baba manifests as Para Brahma Parama Shiva

As Baba says "What a man might give, does not last long and it is always imperfect. But what My Sarkar (God) gives, lasts to the end of time. No other gift from any man can be compared to His. My Sarkar says, 'Take, take', but everybody comes to Me and says 'Give, give!' Nobody attends carefully to the meaning of what I say. My Sarkar's treasury (spiritual wealth) is full, it is overflowing. I say, 'Dig out and take away this wealth in cartloads; the blessed son of a true mother should fill himself with this wealth.' The skill of My Fakir, the leela of My Lord and the aptitude of My Sarkar is quite unique. What about Me? Body (earth) will mix with earth, breath with air. This time won't come again. No matter where I go or where I sit, Maya always troubles me much, still I am always anxious for My men. He, who does anything (spritual endeavour), will reap its fruit and he, who remembers these words of mine, will get invaluable happiness." Shri Sai Satcharita, Chapter 32, Pages 173-174.

What a Beautiful verse is this and how precious are these words. The more one dives deep into Spirituality (Adwaita bhava), the more experiences and oneness one feels with the self.
He/She starts realizing that he/she is the ParaBrahma (Aham brahmasmi/I am Brahma).  When one starts feeling this within, he starts seeing the whole universe as his self. Everyone is really a Ansha (fraction) of the divine source of the cosmic energy. We all are really one and belong to that one big holy cosmic energy source. When such a feeling constantly flourishes in heart and mind, one feels he/she is no different than that divine source, that source which binds the entire universe, cosmos and all the beings across different realms. This divine source we call as Shiva. Different religions give different nomenclature. Baba called him as Sarkar/ Maalik (Chief). Hindu religion names him as "Shiva", the one who does not have any form (Nirakar), the one who is Niranjan (one who is not attached to the wordly dealings), the one who alone exists even after the whole universe gets annihilated (Avinashi), the one who exists everywhere (Satya), the one who is pure conciousness & full of knowledge (Chit), the one who is the pure essence of eternal happiness (Paramananda), the one who resides in every living being's heart (Hridaya Nivasi). Shirdi Sai Baba is none other than the Purna Sakaar (one with form) Swaroop of this Nirakaara (formless) SatchitAnanda Parabrahma. As one dives deep into meditating on the Nirakaara swaroop (formless nature) to feel oneness with this nirakaara tatva, the gross self is meeting with the subtle self (source) and becoming the pure self. During such a divine meeting of the self with the self and being able to remain in such a state is called the Samadhi/trance state. One starts seeing different Leelas (Siddhis) of the Lord. Here are few of such leelas shown by Baba who manifested himself as Shiva.

Baba puts the devotees to test from time to time and when one passes the test, he presents the devotee with invaluable happiness and presents the fruits for their good karma. During one of the crisis faced by my family, i pressed everyone to keep faith in Baba and that the clouds will pass on. The clouds did pass and everyone was happy again. We never lost faith in Baba. During the early hours of the morning, Baba came into my vision during 2nd week of May 2015. I saw that there was a big function of Shri Sai AmritVani. We were cooking food in large vessels for the devotees and all the Baba's statues were seen moving here and there in the house. I saw one of the Baba's murthy reaching out to a tumbler to have the water offered to him with Love and Baba's Swaroop spoke "You will start seeing me moving and speaking to you now and then".  I then saw almost all the Swaroops of Baba speaking to me. I just got up from the dream and thanked Baba for the dream. Words cannot just express the feelings many a times. What a kind grace is this, how can we owe our gratitude to Baba for such a shower of love. Then a few days passed by. I was sure that if Baba blesses a vision, his words are pregnant with meaning and cannot be untrue. This was a sign to me, for something big bound to happen in near future.

One month passed by, doing my daily routine of Abhisheka to Baba and Siva Linga with various materials, it was 05-Jun-2015 then. Jun 2015 marks one year anniversary of starting the daily Shiva Linga Aaradhana(worship) and Abhisheka along with Baba. Probably to acknowledge this service, Baba showered his grace once more, this time appearing as Shiva. Early morning i had a vision again with Baba, Huge Shiva Linga, & Guru Maa, Veena Maa all together coming in the same Vision. I was doing a raw vegan diet for close to 2 months and shed considerable no. of pounds. Maa was seen advising me to have good food and not to allow the body to starve. I saw a very huge Baba's Swaroop, about 50 feet height. I saw Baba's very huge flower Mala from his huge 50 feet swaroop falling down as a sign of his blessing. Its a vision to recall & rejoice till the end of the breath. Thank you Baba &amp. This vision left me in Saktipaat. I was ecstatic, overflowing with joy. As a daily routine, did the Abhisheka to Baba and Shiva Linga. That day, an orange was offered to Baba as Prasad (bhog). As a daily practice, i make sure, there are not stickers on the fruit while washing. I did not notice anything strange then. But after doing the Mangala Aarati (Pooja), i noticed a Tripund ( 3 horizontal lines which appears on Shiva) clearly marked on the fruit immediately. This can be seen in the picture here. What an invaluable gift is this. Such will be the shower of love of Siddha's towards their bhaktas. How can we even express our gratitude towards the Lord for what he has blessed us with. It is said that, Neither the human beings nor the Gods in Swarga loka can completely describe the significance of Tripund.  The trinity Gods, Brahma, Vishnu & Rudra explains its importance to the Loka as per the scriptures.

The Lord Brahma explains to Janaka Maharshi as said in the scriptures: ""Tripund has the same greatness and gloriousness that the Nirakar Lord Siva has".
The Lord Vishnu explains to Pippaladha Maharshi, "Tripund possesses the same power that the Lord Shiva possesses. Its not possible for me to explain completely the power of Tripund".
The first line in the Tripund denotes the Brahma, the second line, Vishnu and the third line represents the Sada Shiva. This tri-representation of horizontal lines is the power of brahma (Nirakar Siva).
Kalagni Rudropanishad explains: The first line of the Tripund denotes Maheshwar, second line, Sada Shiva, and the third, Nirakar Shiva Swaroop.
Brahmantara Khandam explains: There are nine Devata Shakthi's residing on each line on the tripund.

Hence its important to mark your forehead with the Tripund with the Udhi/Vibhuti whenever possible.

While i was left in a state of bliss, yet another month passed by, to experience another blessing from Shiva on 29-Jul-2015. As a daily practice, i offered tea to baba. It was a day before Guru Poornima in the USA (it was Gurupoornima day in India). I took the tea offered to baba from my Alter(temple@home). A Trishul manifestation is seen clearly on the tea.
Please see the pic in the album on this page. Read More on the significance of Trishul here:
Can't thank the Parabrahma Shiva & Baba enough for their benevolence and invaluable gift. What more can one ask for in the human life.

Yet one more gift comes from Sai Shiva during August 2015, this time its an Om symbol ॐ . The seeds on the brinjal slice form an Om, ॐ while i was preparing Baba's favourite dish Brinjal kacharya. Baba likes Kacharya as mentioned in Shri Sai Satcharita. More on ॐ click here.

It was September 2015. Looking at the sequence of events, i gained an understanding of the situations of when exactly the leelas would take place. Whenever i have a vision of Shiva linga, Baba or Veena Maa, its a clear indication from Baba to me that some leela can be expected on that day or the following day. On 7-Sep-2015, i had a vision of a huge Siva linga with kumkuma archana being done. I was again in ecstasy. No words can fully describe that state. No worries of any sort, free from all responsibilities, feeling of a fullness and an accomplishment state. I was singing Siva's song, Bho Shambho Siva Shambho Swayambho..., while i was signing, i took the tea that was offered to Baba and poured it in the vessel/container which had more tea, then looked at the container. Wonder of wonders. The Lord Rudra appeared in a sitting posture in the vessel. The layers formed on tea took that Shape. Same hour, my brother in law sent me a pic of Lord Rudra on whats-app. The outline of both the images tallied exactly. One could clearly see the cresent moon on the top on the hair of the Lord, a snake could be seen on the left hand side just above the hand on the left side.
Please see the pic for more.

Shiva Sai, im greatly indebted to you. Thanking you again & again is just not enough. Lord of Lords, you are so humble and benevolent. You shower so much of your grace & love in abundance that we forget this sansar (worldy dealings) just to be engrossed in your blissful thoughts.

Following month was Oct 2015. Oct 24th was a big day as it was Dusshera & Baba's Maha Samadhi day. I was chalking out the Dushhera plan for showing my gratitude towards Baba. I planned a Abhishek with 20-25 dravyas (materials). Previous day i bought all necessary stuff to get ready for the next day. Cooked myself various variety of food for Baba as my wife had gone to India for vacation. Baba's favorite dishes like Puran poli, dal, rice, rasam, sweet, lemon rice etc on the menu was offered to Baba with love. As usual, that day, during the early hours i had a vision of Baba himself. I was overjoyed and understood the indication that Baba will be there. I was arranging all the abhisheka materials in 20+ glasses. Even before the Aarati, Nandishwar (Shiva's Priya bhakta, the white bull on which Lord Shiva rides) appeared on the turmeric water. You can clearly see the shape on the pic. Nandishwar is readily present wherever the Lord Shiva's is present. If you read my previous experience on Nandishwar's 8 ways of keeping the Lord Shiva close to heart, you can thank & appreciate Nandishwar for what he has presented the world. More on Nandi here I thanked Shiva Sai for indicating his presence. Please rejoice looking at the pics.
Om Sai Ram. Om Sai Shiva.

Guru Maa's visit to the US - Baba's blessing with Tripund

There couldn't be another wonderful way to end 2014 and begin a fresh, spiritual and enlightening year 2015 than being rewarded with the company of the Guru. Yes, We had the auspicious moments of spending some valuable time with my Guru Maa, Veena Maa with hopes of coming a step closer to the Parabrahma, Shiva Sai. Maa visited the US in Nov-Dec 2014 in several locations in the US conducting Shri Sai AmritVani recitation. I visited Maa in Simi Valley, CA. Driving all the way for 600 Miles for the spirtual encounter is a trilling experience, and driving back on the same day is crazy fun, in the backdrop of beautiful mountains with greenery all around. What a wonderful journey it was. Along with my father,I reached Simi Valley from Sunnyvale, California an hour and half before the recitation.
We prostrated before Baba & Maa with our koti humble Pranams. Baba blessed us. Maa was very happy to recieve us. Shared some spiritual discussions with Maa on Meditation.
It was an intense euphoric feeling within, feeling as though my 7 Chakras were being cleansed with a chill sensation down my spine all the way up in the body with my eyes filled with tears for no reason. Thanked Baba for this awesome experience. We brought few apples for Baba from home for the veneration. Maa offered one apple from them to baba. She placed it near Baba's photo which was oozing with Udhi while we were having some spritual discussion. Being engrossed in the all pervasive divinity, She noticed Baba eating the apple and informed me of the same. I was delighted with joy to witness this. She said, 'Let Baba eat more, we will take the prasad later'.
There were more than 50 people in the gathering. Since we reached early, i helped the host with some last minute arrangements. The food arrived, i just helped them keep them in the kitchen. While we were doing this,I noticed Maa removing the lid of each of the food items. I asked Maa if i should bring a plate to offer these items near Baba's photo. She said, 'This is what im doing my son' and smiled. As I completely understand that she was one with Baba, removing each of the lid on the food packets and looking at it is equivalent to offering it to Baba. What a power she is blessed with. What a holy person she is. Blessed is my life for having her come in my life as one of my Gurus.
The recitation started & completed amidst Divine ambiance. Baba's presence was felt. Different photos & idols of Baba materialized Udi in no time. Fruits offered to Baba was accepted & blessed by Baba with Udhi instantly. Even the fruits which were in hand of Maa,before they were even being placed on the table before the recitation, was accepted and bitten by Baba as though he was waiting for the devotees offering from long time. Let your eyes feast on these pics.
Maa blessed everyone with a global prayer and meditation. She said, what ever is asked for during that moment, is fulfilled by Baba with a 100% assurance. She gave me the apple placed during beginning near baba's photo.(Green apple in the pic). You know what, Baba blessed my devotion to Lord Siva. I do regular abhishek to Shivling & Baba daily at home with various materials. Baba acknowledged that he is one with Siva by marking a TRIPUND on the apple. Tripund is nothing but 3 horizontal lines on Lord Siva's forehead. You can see them on Shivling too. This reminds me of bhakt Megha, Baba's intimate devotee. Baba blessed his devotion to lord Siva and asked him to mark a Tripund on the wall and installed a Shivling there near the trident. Read Megha's Story in sai Satcharitra chapter 28 here. Im blessed, my family is blessed, my lineage is blessed. Couldn't ask for more in this life. Thank you my Baba. You are none other than the Parabrahma Siva. Koti Koti Pranams. Thank you for blessing me with so many opportunities to serve you. Bless me such that i serve your holy feet for ever. Bless me such that i get engrossed in your hearing & writing your leela's, listening to your sankeertans, feeling your presence and finally reaching your holy abode from where there is no return.

Baba acknowledges the service done to him with love

Pic sent me to by mail
Baba is Shiv, Baba is Shakti. Baba is Annapurna Devi. Sai means Sakshat Eeshwar. After coming to the US, Baba gave me the opportunity of serving him in unique ways like never before. Every saturdayI, i started regularly visiting the early morning Kakad Aarthi in Shirdi Sai Darbar, Sunnyvale, California. I volunteered myself in various activities of Shri Sai temple. The founders there liked my service and offered me regular volunteering. During the holidays and weekends, food is cooked on grand scale in the temple. 4-5 different dishes are cooked to be offered to Baba during the Choti Aarti(during the Aarti..Shirdi Maajhe Pandaripur..) @ 8am ie the aarti which follows the Kakad aarti. During one of these days, the lady devotees who used to cook could not make it to the temple. One of the founder asked me if i can cook. I replied in affirmation and he asked me to cook some 2-3 dishes that day. I cooked Vegetable biryani, lemon rice and curd rice. The food was then offered to Baba and the other devotees who came liked the Prasad (food) very much. It was after this that i became regular in cooking every week. Volunteers kiddingly named me "Chef". I intently wished that baba liked the dishes.

Shirdi Sai Darbar,CA
I believe that being engrossed in his thoughts, adding ingredients with devotion and mixing them with dedication, pouring all the love we have in our hearts will surely win his grace and brings us closer to each other. Cooking in the temple became a regular weekly task for me and i truly rejoiced every moment of it. I can't thank Baba enough for providing me this opportunity. Baba even provided the opportunity of doing Abhishek to the main murthy in the temple, doing the mangal snan and changing his clothes and ornaments and making him ready for the darshan. Baba even acknowledged the fact of my cooking during the first week itself. I wanted to have Shirdi Baba's Vibhuti from Shirdi and one of the devotees mailed me the Vibhuti prasad along with Baba's picture. Guess what the picture was. Yes that was the one shown here. Isn't that awesome. Baba is so omniscient. His abode is in his devotees hearts. Hail to Such Satguru who is the inner ruler and the wire-puller of this universe.

Assimilating our Beloved Baba in whatever we do

All of know that the Lord really dwells in all of us, is reachable and just a call away when invoked with a pure heart and love. What is needed from our end is wholehearted devotion and love.

Most of us would have heard the following beautiful bhajan:

Achyutam Keshavam Sai Damodaram, bhakata jana Vatsalam Sai Narayanam
kaun kehta hai sainath aate nahi
Bhakth Meera ke jaise bulate nahi

kaun kehta hai sainath khaate nahi
ber shabri ke tarrha khilate nahi

kaun kehta hai sainath naachte nahi
gopiyon ke tarrha nachaate nahin

kaun kehta hai bhagvan sote nahi
maa yashoda ke tarrha sulate nahin

kaun kehta hai Sai gale lagate nahi
bhakti hanumad ke tarrha hum nibhate nahin

kaun kehta hai Sai Preet nibhate nahi
Tum sudama ke jaise dhar aate nahi

This song goes on praising the lord Sainath with different names of Lord vishnu. These lyrics mean:

Who says Sainath does not come?
You dont call him with devotion of Meera towards Lord Sri Krisha

Who says Sainath does not eat?
You dont feed him like how shabari fed Lord Rama

Who says Sainath does not dance?
You dont make him dance like how gopis did to Sri Krishna

Who says Sainath does not sleep?
You dont make him sleep like how mother yashoda did to the infant baby Sri Krisha

We should by all means, leave all thoughts, remain calm, feel intentely, medidate on him to invoke him in whatever we do. It is said that Lord Nandi thought the world on how to think and meditate on Lord Siva, the Parabrahma during all times. The Lord Parabrahma really envelopes the whole universe in the various forms. Lord Nandi gifted the below Mantras to the world. Lets pass these on to the future generations. The essense of these Mantras is to invoke the Lords aid and feel his presence in whatever we do:

1. Om Sarvaya Namah
2. Om Bhimaya Namah
3. Om Bhavaya Namah
4. Om Rudraya Namah
5. Om Eshanaya Namah
6. Om MahaDevaya Namah
7. Om Pashupathiye Namah
8. Om Ugraya Namah

These have to be recited during specific times. We add Sai to these Mantras as we love our Sai and Sai is our Siva.

1. Om Sai Sarvaya Namah:
Lord envelopes this whole universe in the form of Sarvaya. This mantra is to be recited when we wake up in the morning or before putting our feet on the ground or while walking or enjoying the beautiful nature, Appreciate gods creation and recite this Mantra, the God will be with you.

Baba's directions on Right Path

Jai Sai Ram
Apologies for not updating the blog for long time. Im clubbing together a few experiences i had recently with the most merciful and benevolent Saint, Shri Sai Baba.
Jan 2013 i was transfered on H1B visa to California, US. With Baba's blessings we settled well. Since then for about a month i did not get enough vibrations probably due to the new house and place. I enquired if there was any Baba temple near-by. I was immensely happy to find out that there was one called Shirdi Sai Darbar within 1.5 miles from my house. Then i started visiting the temple for Aarthis during the weekends. During one of the visit to the temple as i was walking along the road, my mind was in a state of Vairagya(dispassion) as i was thinking about how many more years are left for working out my Karma and when i will reach his abode of no return. Soon i found an American lady next to me enquiring about a Church. I told her its just next to the Sai baba temple am going. She said she will join me till there. The conversation soon turned into a strong vibration for me as she said Lord has sent for me to help her with the address. She said this body is divine and we should take a very good care of it as long as we live with it. She said she has no computers, no cell phones and she relys on her own.She is a farmer in near by place. She asked me about my job and I said I'm from India. She said she knew of many Saints in India and keeps visiting India often and spoke a few words about Shri Ramana Maharshi. She also told me that being in a place like America is very easy for one to get spoilt and we should be very careful in everything. I thanked her for her kind advices. As we walked we reached the church. She said everyone is same to her be it the Christ or Sai baba. She came to visit the church just to find the process and method they use to follow the Christ. She said she will next go to Baba's temple. I thanked, greeted her and left for the temple. I had a feeling that this is none other than Sai himself. How can an American Lady speak so much in depth of the leelas of Indian Saints. Wouldn't she know the process Christians follow at Church.  For me, she is none other than Sai who came timely to lift up my spirits.

The next experience goes like this:

Sri Sunkalamma Devi, Kondapur, Gooty,Anantapur Dist, AP
Jan 2013 we found a bridegroom for my younger sister with Baba's grace. She was engaged in May 2013 and her wedding is set in the following November. We have certain pre-marriage rituals in my family. One of the ritual is to offer a live goat to the village diety,Sri Sunkalamma who is none other than the form of Aadi Shakti. I'm always thankful and indebted to Sunkalamma for making me what im today. Its only due to her grace that i found Shri Sai Baba. Sunkalamma Devi showed me the path and i found my living Guru's Siddhaguru Sri Ramananda Maharshi,Vishakapatnam and Sai Maa Smt. Veena Guptaji New Delhi. Due to her grace i completed my studies successfully and placed in a good job. As a token of gratitude, i provided some funds for the renovation of the temple surroundings in the village. Im thankful to Maa for giving me this opportunity to serve her in this way.

And coming to the experience i had, this is the temple where the Goats are often offered to please the diety. And my family was no exception. From time immemorial, this ritual is followed. Just all were planning for this ceremony to be held in Jun 2013 and from few days before this ,during parayan, i read the Ordeal of Guru-Bahkti in Chapter 23 of Sai Sat Charitra (Please Read about it in the below section), in which Sai Baba puts a few devotees on test to check if they will go ahead and kill the goat or leave it off thinking that Sai pervades everything and is resides in every living being. Similarly he put me on test. A few days before this incident, i had a strong feeling to read about the great Saint of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Pothuluri Veera Brahmendra Swamy. I was reading it on the net but some how i got into my work and closed the browser. The next day, Sai baba aired the movie about this saint on the leading telugu channel. When i watched the TV, i see this same scene in this movie where the villagers will be ready to offer many goats to the diety named Poleru. Shri Veera Brahmendra Swamy says this is just a superticious belief. The villagers say the diety would be furious with them and will be displeased if they do not offer goat. Swamy says, he will spare his life for them and they should believe him. Before the entire crowd, he will pray and invoke the diety and there Maa Durga appears and blesses everyone. This is a real incident which has happened. Thus Villagers are convinced with the idea of feeling oneness with all living entities.

Baba's ways are insruitable. He gives different experiences, teaches different devotees in different ways. He showed me the path practically. I spoke to my family about my intutions and feelings and they, being Sai devotees readily accepted my idea. This superticious belief thus ended in my family but we will continue to pray the diety with all respect, love and devotion through generations to come.

Thanks Baba for showing the right path to us. You are our light. You are our Guru. We follow you.

Ordeal of Guru-Bhakti ( Chapter 23 of Sat Charitra )

While the Cholera-ordinance was in force in Shirdi, somebody brought a goat to the Masjid. It was weak, old and about to die. At this time Fakir Pir Mohamad of Malegaon alias Bade Baba was near. Sai Baba asked him to behead it with one stroke, and offer it as an oblation. This Bade Baba was much respected by Sai Baba. He always sat on the right hand of Sai Baba. After the chilim (pipe) was first smoked by him, it was then offered to Baba and others. After the dishes were served, at the time of taking meals at noon, Baba respectfully called Bade Baba and made him sit on His left side, and then all partook of food. Baba paid him also daily Rs.50/- out of the amount collected as Dakshina. Baba accompanied him hundred paces whenever he was going away. Such was his position with Baba. But when Baba asked him to behead the goat, he flatly refused, saying "Why it should be killed for nothing?" Then Baba asked Shama to kill it. He went to Radha-Krishna-Mai and brought a knife from her and placed it before Baba. Knowing the purpose for which the knife was taken, she recalled it. Then Shama went to bring another knife, but stayed in the Wada, and did not return soon. Then came the turn of Kakasaheb Dixit. He was 'good gold' no doubt, but had to be tested. Baba asked him to get a knife and kill the goat. He went to Sathe's Wada and returned with a knife. He was ready to kill it at Baba's bidding. He was born in a pure Brahmin family and never in his life knew killing. Though quite averse to do any act of violence, he made himself bold to kill the goat. All the people wondered to see that Bade Baba, a Mahomedan was unwilling to kill it while this pure Brahmin was making preparations to do so. He tightened his dhotar and with a semicircular motion raised his hand with the knife and looked at Baba for the final signal. Baba said - "What are you thinking of? Go on, strike". Then, when the hand was just about to come down, Baba said - "Stop, how cruel you are! Being a Brahmin, you are killing a goat?" Kakasaheb obeyed and kept the knife down and said to baba - "Your nectarlike word is law unto us, we do not know any other ordinance. We remember You always, meditate on Your Form and obey You day and night, we do not know or consider whether it is right or wrong to kill, we do not want to reason or discuss things, but implicit and prompt compliance with Guru's orders, is our duty and dharma".

Then Baba said to Kakaseheb, that He would Himself do the offering and killing business. It was settled that the goat should be disposed of near a place called Takkya, where fakirs used to sit. When the goat was being removed to that place, it fell dead on the way.

Hemadpant closes the Chapter with a classification of disciples. He says that they are of three kinds : (1) First or best (2) Second or middling and (3) Third or ordinary. The best kind of disciples are those who guess what their Gurus want and immediately carry it out and serve them without waiting for an order from them. The average disciples are those who carry out the orders of their Masters to a letter, without any delay, and the third kind of disciples are those, who go on postponing the carrying out of their orders and making mistakes at every step.

The disciples should have firm faith, backed up by intelligence and if they and patience to these, their spiritual goal will not be distant. Control of breath -- ingoing and outgoing, or Hath-Yoga or other difficult practices are not at all necessary. When the disciples get the above-mentioned qualities, they become ready for further instructions and the Masters then appear and lead them on, in their spiritual path to perfection.

Being in the company of a Guru

Recently on Hanuman Jayanti,I happened to read the following story of the Birth of Lord Hanuman. The story goes like this:
Hanuman was born to Anjana, a female vanara, and Kesari, a male vanara, in Anjana Giri mountain. Another name for Hanuman is "Anjaniputra" which means son of Anjana. His mother was an apsara who was born on Earth as a female vanara due to a curse. She would be redeemed from this curse on her giving birth to an incarnation of Lord Shiva, and endowed with the Supreme Power of exalted devotion to Bhagwan Hari. Hanuman is endowed with 28 transcendental divine opulences, with perfection in each. Anjana, along with her husband Kesari, performed intense prayers to Lord Shiva to beget Him as her Child. Pleased with their devotion, Shiva granted them the boon they sought.Hence, Hanuman is also known as "Maharudra" because he was born of the boon given to Anjana by Shiva, who is also known as Rudra. The Valmiki Ramayana states that Kesari is the son of Brihaspati and that Kesari also fought on Rama's side in the war against Ravana.
Several different traditions account for Hanuman's birth. One is that at the time that Anjana was worshipping Lord Shiva, elsewhere, Dasharatha, the king of Ayodhya, was performing the Putrakama Yagna in order to have children. As a result, he received some sacred pudding, payasam, to be shared by his three wives, leading to the births of Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna. By divine ordinance, a kite snatched a fragment of that pudding and dropped it while flying over the forest where Anjana was engaged in worship. Vayu, the Hindu deity of the wind, delivered the falling pudding to the outstretched hands of Anjana, who consumed it. Hanuman was born to her as a result.

This story made me focus on the following thought. Anjana maata received the droppings of the sacred pudding which originated as a result of yagna/havan by the pure souls and gave birth to an incarnation of Lord Shiva, endowed with the Supreme Power of exalted devotion to Sri Rama. What a power the sacred pudding had. If often, whenever given a chance, if a disciple happens to be under the aura of a Guru who is a perfect Siddha, then the seemless energy which the Siddha guru receives as a result of his perfect meditative state, gets transferred to the bhaktas under the Guru's aura. We need to be in the company of the Guru whenever we get a chance or rather try to grab a chance. The power which i receive from my Guru is also such, which i feel is no less than the power of the sacred pudding which Anjana Maata received. I often feel this state in the company of both of my Guru Maa, Veena Maa who often bestows me with the Udhi showered by the Lord Shri Sai. My Guru has has her own way of taking devotees on the marg of Atma Shakshatkar. Even Wonderful is the power above all. The power from which everything originates and to which everything merges into. This power and energy is our Sai, the supreme of All, the source of All. May this world always be under your divine Aura Sai.

Sri Sai Amritvani @ Hyderabad on 26-April-2012

We had a wonderful time having Sri Sai Amritvani @ Hyderabad on 26-April-2012 @ Vaneja aunty's residence. Meditation in the presence of Baba and our Guru Maa has been very powerful. Felt the energies around and atmosphere had been very energetic.

Baba's leelas can be seen in the pics. Baba accepted bhog of devotees. Bhog like apples, banana, sweets were accepted in no time. We could see these marks on these fruits. Pan veeda which was offered was also accepted by Baba. Baba's picture materialized udhi during the early hours of thursday morning.

Koti Koti Pranams to Baba for showering his seemless grace on everyone.

Thanks for Maa and Ashokji for coming to hyderabad and blessing us. Thanks to Vaneja aunty, Suresh and family for hosting this recitation @Hyderabad at their residence.
